Hello, Ellie!
Welcome back to planDisney! It seems like you enjoy collecting letters from Disney characters. I hope you receive responses to the letters you sent to the Madrigal family in Walt Disney World Resort! I am so sorry to hear about your boyfriend's mother. Losing a parent is heartbreaking, and I am glad he has a thoughtful girlfriend to support him. Winnie the Pooh is such a sweet Disney character who is always willing to help his family and friends, making him the perfect character to remind your boyfriend of his mother.
My pals Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh love receiving letters from Guests, although they cannot always respond. Mickey is often busy preparing his friends for the
"Magic Happens" Parade, and Pooh is usually distracted while looking for honey on
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. My planDisney friends
Prince and
Amy provided you with some great information about writing to Disney characters at Walt Disney World. I chatted with a Cast Member at Disneyland Resort, and she suggested sending mail to this address:
Walt Disney Company
Attn: Fan Mail Department
500 South Buena Vista Street
Burbank, CA 91521
Make sure to include your return address in your letter! It can take a few weeks to receive a response, and some Disney characters might be unable to reply. In my experience, the Fab-Five characters are most likely to respond, which includes Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, and Goofy. The Disney Princesses also like to respond to Guest letters if they have a break from their other activities.
If your boyfriend gets a chance to visit Disneyland Resort, he may be able to meet Winnie the Pooh. Winnie the Pooh often says hello to Guests at 'Pooh's Thotful Spot' outside
Pooh Corner in
Critter Country. Just check the
Disneyland mobile app to see when he will appear.
Ellie, I am sending warm hugs to you and your boyfriend. Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions!
Wishing you a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
Jen
