Hi again! I check-in to my Disney World resort in 60 days today but can't book dining yet? The available days is 61 days. Is it 60 days in advance per actual day you want to book and not per your entire trip? Thanks!!

Greetings, Kristina! It's great to see you back at planDisney. When my booking window opens for a Walt Disney World Resort trip, I always feel like Princess Anna on Coronation Day. Let's look at the timing for securing some magical dining during your trip. Some meals are worth melting for!

Since guests staying at Disney Resort Hotels can book dining for the duration of their stay (up to 10 days), my first tip is to ensure your resort reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account. Once you're logged in, the system will recognize that you can book multiple days during your hotel stay.

Your window should open 60 days before you check in at your resort. This can get tricky depending on how many days each month has, so I usually check the calendar in my mobile app a few days early to determine exactly when my window opens.

On the mobile app Welcome screen, tap the Reserve Dining tile and select your party size. A calendar should pop up, so swipe through to see how far in advance dining is currently available. For example, I checked today and saw dining can be booked through September 8 for all guests. If I had a resort stay beginning September 8, my calendar would be open through my check-out date.

If you're still having issues booking for the length of your visit, give the dining line a call. Cast Members can see your account and help you make table-service reservations. They'll treat you like royalty!

Speaking of royalty, one of my favorite dining spots is Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park. My husband and I recently enjoyed breakfast there and had a blast meeting some princess friends. When you check in, request a window table; while there's no guarantee, they'll do their best to accommodate you. And the view of Fantasyland while you dine in the castle is breathtaking!

Kristina, I'm wishing on a star that you're able to reserve a delectable dining spot. Please stop by planDisney again. If we don't know the answer, we won't "let it go" until we find it!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
