Hi there, Carley! I'm so happy you stopped by planDisney with this question and it looks like you're considering a few different options for your girls-only Disney vacation. For me, half the fun of taking the trip with friends is working together to plan the perfect itinerary, so you've come to the right place!
Disneyland Paris is truly something special, and I feel so lucky that I was able to experience it for the first time with my friend and fellow panelist,
Lauren M. earlier this year! We booked a
Hotel + Tickets package online, which included our stay at one of the Disney hotels and our multi-day theme park tickets. You'll notice that these packages will automatically include one additional day of admission than your hotel stay so that you can enjoy the parks for the duration of your time (for example, if you book a 3-night stay, the package will include a 4-day ticket). It was really nice to be able to secure all these travel logistics in one flexible booking, and we could
make online payments as our visit approached. I also loved the extra perks of staying at one of the Disney hotel properties, like Extra Magic Time which was an additional hour of access to the parks at the beginning of the day before regular operating hours. Although, let me also say that a girls' trip is also the perfect time to sleep in and take an easier pace. It's YOUR vacation! As for selecting a hotel, the
Disneyland Hotel is truly spectacular. I was just captivated by its beauty, both inside and around the grounds, and it has one of my favorite locations for a celebratory cocktail, Fleur de Lys Bar. Lauren and I also took advantage of visiting the
Disneyland Hotel Spa by Clarins on our arrival day, which was the perfect to unwind from our international travel!
Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel is also a fantastic hotel choice, with great proximity to Disney Village and the theme park entrances, sleek Marvel-inspired decor, and another fabulous lounge, the Skyline Bar (keep your eyes to the sky for a few surprises!)
Carley, if you already have some experience with U.S.-based Disney Parks, you'll notice some similar attractions at Disneyland Paris but please don't let that deter you from experiencing them to the fullest! Big Thunder Mountain and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain might sound familiar, but I promise they are a completely different experience at Disneyland Paris and you won't want to miss them! Of course, you should also take advantage of the
unique attractions and entertainment experiences you can only find at Disneyland Paris.
Finally, I feel like I should state the obvious which is that planning an international trip with a friend requires a few more logistics and a bit more coordination than visiting Disney Parks stateside. But, there is truly something special about the memories you make together. I'll never forget my own girls' vacation to Disneyland Paris and I'm so honored to share a few suggestions with you as you consider taking your own magical adventure. I have so much more to share and wish I had unlimited space, so please feel welcome to
reach out if you have any other follow-up questions I can answer! I'd love to hear from you again soon.
Magically yours,
Tishra
