Welcome to planDisney, Dillon! Or should I say,
Bienvenue! I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a visit to
Disneyland Paris. It is such a special place with stunning landscapes, world-class dining and accommodations, live entertainment, and incredible attractions that continue the Disney storytelling legacy in remarkable ways.
You’ve asked an excellent question and while it is probably a matter of tastes and preferences when it comes to recommending the best attractions, let’s start with a few that would top my list simply because they’re unique experiences in the Disneyland Paris parks.
My absolute favorite attraction at Disneyland Park can be found in Discoveryland.
Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain is a thrilling intergalactic journey, complete with a launch to lightspeed that will definitely get your heart rate up! I don’t want to give too much away but there are some scenes from your favorite Star Wars films that create a memorable twist on some of the traditional views in the Space Mountain attraction experiences you might be accustomed to in the U.S. parks.
My second recommendation is
Crush’s Coaster over in Walt Disney Studios Park which will be renamed
Disney Adventure World in the future. The ride vehicle technology creates a thrilling, gliding, rotating coaster experience through the Eastern Australian Current (the EAC, dude!) With both indoor and outdoor elements to this ride experience, it’s a completely immersive journey themed after the Finding Nemo storyline. This is definitely something the whole family will love!
I also want to share one of my favorite walk-through attractions,
La Tanière du Dragon which is actually located underneath the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park. Mere mortals can attempt to escape the dragon’s searing glare, but you might find it to be surprisingly alert and protective over its domain! This is quite a distinct experience to explore underneath a legendary Disney castle, too!
Sleeping Beauty Castle features gorgeous scenes from the animated classic film, as well as other design elements inspired by real French castles and architecture.
Finally, I realize this is not necessarily a conventional ride attraction, Dillon, but I have to recommend the
live entertainment options at Disneyland Paris because they really are second to none. Many of the shows are fully staged productions with live actors and musicians, exquisite costuming, and incredible talent in both English and French languages, so international Guests will be completely immersed in the story!
As you can imagine, there are endless opportunities to catch the magic at Disneyland Paris, whether you plan to visit this year or you are dreaming of a future adventure. Keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for more news and announcements on the thrilling developments coming to Disneyland Paris soon! In the meantime, please feel welcome to share more vacation planning questions with us here at

Magically yours,
Tishra
