Hey there, hi there, Natalie!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question! I know many people who like to purchase tickets far in advance to take advantage of current ticket prices, so I can totally understand if you would like to secure some tickets just to keep handy. That's not a bad strategy if you know that you're definitely going to be visiting within the next year or so.
To answer your question, you may purchase
Theme Park Tickets as far in advance as you'd like as long as the expiration date will fall within the desired dates of your visit. One-day tickets purchased today would expire on December 30, 2024 and multi-day tickets would expire on January 12, 2025 (or 13 days after first use, whichever comes first). When purchasing tickets through the Disneyland website, part of the process will make you pick specific dates for your visit. Reservations are only available 120 days in advance, so you will be limited to those dates, but you may easily go back into the system and cancel those reservations later. It's always nice to free up those slots for guests who are visiting that day. Once you do know when you'd like to visit, just visit the
Tickets and Reservations page to make new reservations. And even if the ticket expires, Disney will allow you to apply the cost of a
wholly unused, expired ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value.
Good luck with your planning, Natalie, and I hope you can make it to the Happiest Place on Earth soon! It's always a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort because there's always something going on and so much to see! Please visit us again anytime if you need more tips or advice from planDisney! Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
