Does Disney still have the Pirate room?

    Rhonda,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

There is no doubt that Disney has a lot of great pirate-themed fun to be had. For my family, even after years of visits to Walt Disney World, a ride on Pirates of the Caribbean is still a must-do experience!

While there are a lot of pirate adventures out there, a few buccaneer-based experiences have sailed away into the sunset. The pirate-themed rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are no longer available, as they were recently renovated and remodeled to a new look and feel inspired by The Little Mermaid. The Pirates League venue in the Magic Kingdom, where young scallywags in training could get a pirate makeover, is also permanently gone.

I was not sure if one of these two past experiences was what you were referring to, but I would guess that one of them was what you had in mind. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but now you know and can plan accordingly.

    BONUS TIP
While you may not get to visit the pirate room you had in mind, you should make a point to visit with Jack Sparrow in the courtyard outside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. He often is accompanied by one of his crew, and they provide a very entertaining, and interactive show for children and adults alike. You can find the times he will be out on your My Disney Experience App.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
