We are 2 adults (56 & 57) going to WDW and Epcot for the first time. Plan on going end of Jan or Feb 2013 and want to stay at a resort with the monorail. When would the best time be for less crowds and the best cost?

    Hi Linda!

Congrats on your upcoming trip to Disney! There is so much to do for adults visiting Walt Disney World without children! You will love going to Epcot and touring the World Showcase.

The resorts that are along the monorail line include The Contemporary, Polynesian and Grand Floridian. All three of these are wonderful resorts and you will absolutely love them! The Grand Floridian is the best option for adults traveling without children, as their elaborate theming and beautiful scenery is something that adults will definitely appreciate. This resort is filled with elegance, from their decor to their dining. You can dine at Victoria and Alberts, Disney's signature dining experience, or enjoy a delicious meal at Narcoosees or Citricos. You will also experience lower crowd levels and less noise at this resort. This resort is not, however, the most budget friendly. All of the resorts along the monorail line are "Deluxe" resorts, which are filled with amenities, but are also more costly.

Another great solution if you want to visit Epcot more frequently, is to stay at The Boardwalk or Beach Club Resorts. Both of these resorts are considered Moderate, so they are more budget friendly and you can walk directly to Epcot through the back entrance from both of these resorts. This is a great option. I have stayed at both resorts and they are wonderful!

    Magically,
    Stacy
