I have a passion for Disney, helping people, and continually learning, which makes my role on the planDisney panel extremely fulfilling! As a single mom to two amazing teenagers, I have yEARS of experience in planning Walt Disney World vacations for babies, toddlers, kids, and teens. I am also known for taking frequent spontaneous adults-only trips! In 2021, I obtained my PhD in Rhetorics, Communications, and Information Design from Clemson University and I am a communications manager for a Fortune 500 company. I am also a certified running coach and I love running in my spare time. More than anything, I love spending time with my kids at the most magical place on earth!
About My Family
I have two beautiful children, ages 19 and 15. I started the tradition of taking my kids to Walt Disney World for their birthdays when they were babies and this tradition has since blossomed into several trips a year to celebrate all types of special occasions. We have several annual traditions, such as sharing a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar in front of Cinderella Castle, watching the fireworks from atop The Contemporary Resort at California Grill, and dining around the world at Epcot. We also like to experience something new each time we visit, which is easy to do because Walt Disney World is dynamic and always adding new and exciting experiences!
About My Disney Experience
I had always wanted to visit Walt Disney World as a child, but unfortunately, was never able to go. As such, when I had children of my own, it was extremely important to me to take my kids to visit Walt Disney World. When I brought my son for the first time when he was three years old, and I saw him experience the magic...I fell in love. There is nothing like experiencing the magic and joy of Walt Disney World through your children's eyes. Since that day, I have been committed to helping other families experience the love, magic, and enchantment that Disney provides.
