Hi Sherri, and welcome to planDisney! We’re so happy you stopped by with this question. It sounds like you are planning an amazing family getaway with some special little Mouseketeers! Let’s take a look at some options for how you can all be together at your resort hotel.
When you look at room categories at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, you are allowed to have the maximum number of Guests listed per room,
plus one child under three in a portable crib. The resort hotel rooms with the highest capacity are the family suites at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. Each of these suites has a maximum capacity of six adults, plus one child in a portable crib. Since your total group size is five adults and three children, this won’t quite be large enough. You could do one family suite plus one standard room and that would cover your group size. These are both Value Resorts, so they offer the most budget-friendly pricing of the Disney resort hotels.
Another wonderful option that would allow you to have everyone in one place is to consider a
villa at a Deluxe Resort. The two-bedroom villas are large enough for your entire group. These villas are excellent for large families because, depending on which resort you choose, you will generally have two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and living and dining areas. You truly get all of the comforts of home while staying right in the heart of Walt Disney World Resort! Another fun option to consider is the
Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. These are also large enough to accommodate your whole group and give you a cabin in the woods vibe. You really can't go wrong with a Deluxe Villa!
Sherri, I hope this helps you find the perfect home base for your magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more questions, be sure to
come back and see me. I'm here to help and love adding extra pixie dust to your Disney vacation planning!
Magically,
Casey
