I will have 2 adults, 2 kids, a toddler and a baby when we travel. Since we have two kids that will be in cribs and no park ticket, are we able to book a standard room somewhere like Pop Century or an All-Star?

Hi Alyssa, and welcome to planDisney! You have such a magical visit in store with your two little ones. Some of my favorite memories of Walt Disney World Resort vacations were when my children were babies and toddlers. There is something truly special about experiencing all of the magic through their little eyes!

The All-Star Resorts and Disney’s Pop Century Resort are so fun with their larger-than-life theming! They are the perfect home base for families with young kids. I chatted with a Cast Member today about your question, and she verified with the resort team that you can have two portable cribs in the room, as long as both children are listed on the resort hotel room reservation. You can request cribs and sheets either when you make your hotel reservation or when you arrive at the hotel, but quantities are limited and based upon availability.

Since you are traveling with young Mouseketeers, I also want to pass along some additional information that may be helpful during your visit. First, be sure to visit the Baby Care Centers in each of the four theme parks. They are wonderful places to feed or change your babies, and they also sell essentials like diapers, diaper cream, baby food, formula, juice, and over-the-counter medications. The Baby Care Centers made it so much easier for me as a mom of little ones, and I also loved having a quiet space to take a break with them. Also, you may find the Rider Switch program helpful. This will allow you to trade off with another adult, so you can both ride attractions that may not be the right fit for your little ones without having to wait in the standby line twice. You might want to also check out this great information about visiting Walt Disney World with young children. I have always really appreciated how Disney makes it easier for families with little ones to enjoy the parks!

Alyssa, I hope this helps you plan a magical visit with your babies! If you have any other questions, stop back by and see me. I’m here to help make your visit “practically perfect in every way!”

With faith, trust, & pixie dust,
    Casey
