Hello there, Ryan, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for coming to us with your question. Are you planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort soon? Then you've come to the right place and it would be my pleasure to help you out!
In response to your question, you are absolutely able to use an adult Disneyland Resort
Theme Park Ticket for a child. As long as those tickets are not expired and there are valid park reservations, then they may be used for the visit. When the ticket is activated, the Cast Member at the entrance will snap a photo of the Guest associated with the ticket. If they are 1-Day Tickets, keep in mind the
Ticket Tiers and plan the visit accordingly. When you're ready to make those reservations, just navigate to
Theme Park Tickets & Reservations and click on "Make or Modify Park Reservations."
Standard Disneyland Resort Theme Park Tickets never lose their value, so even if those tickets were allowed to expire, you would be able to apply the cost of a wholly unused, expired ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value. It's always nice to know that you've got options!
Ryan, thanks again for coming to us and I hope this was helpful for you. Please feel free to write back to us anytime you have more questions. You're always welcome at planDisney and we'd love to hear from you. Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
