Hey there, Ellen. Thanks for bringing your cheerful question to planDisney! Like you, I'm looking forward to the holidays. I even bought myself a Gingerbread Pumpkin Cookie yesterday during my visit to the
Disneyland Resort because it reminded me of my favorite Disneyland treat ever - the Mickey Gingerbread sold during the holidays.
Ellen, I love that you'll be visiting in time to enjoy the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. And, I have some good news for you from a planning perspective - there are no specially-ticketed, event evenings planned for the holiday time this year. A few years ago, Disneyland Resort hosted "Merriest Nights" on several evenings, but that is not an annual event. Holiday-time special event evenings are reserved for our pals in Florida. So it's unlikely that you'll need to leave the theme parks early that night.
Occasionally, the Resort will host private event evenings for companies and media, but those should be posted about 6 weeks ahead of time online on the
Hours & Events Calendar. Keep checking back as your visit gets closer to see park hours, entertainment times, and more! To make the most of your time at the Resort, Ellen, consider adding the Park Hopper option to your tickets so you can go between parks.
Ellen, also be sure to check the
Disney Parks Blog before your visit. They just announced seasonal entertainment and food offerings for the
2024 Holiday Season! I am especially excited about
Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail pursuit; I think my kids will be excited to try it and I think it would be a hit with your grandson!
Thanks again for visiting planDisney, Ellen. Please
let me know if you have any other questions!
See you in the parks,
Melissa
