We have an ADR at Grand Floridian Cafe on Easter. I could not get an ADR for all 7 of us (including a high chair) but got one for 4 and one for 3. The ADRs are 5 min apart (5:35/5:40pm). What is the best way to check in so that we can be seated together?

    Hi Holly!
    Welcome back to planDisney.

Congratulations on securing those dining reservations for your family at Easter at Grand Floridian Cafe.  I recommend that you arrive early at the restaurant, say, around 5.00pm and speak with the host at the check-in desk.  Explain about your separate reservations and that you'd like to sit together.  I know they will do their best to accommodate your request, but you might have to wait a little while for this to happen.  Nothing is guaranteed but they will try for you.

If you have some waiting time, use that to explore around the hotel.  Disney's Grand Floridian Resort is so beautiful - visit the lobby, and take a stroll around the grounds.  I recommend taking some time to sit by the waterfront - the view of Seven Seas Lagoon is very lovely, as is Cinderella Castle in the distance.

If you want to visit Magic Kingdom Park after your meal, maybe to see the wonderful Happily Ever After fireworks, it's an easy ride on the monorail - just one stop.  Alternatively, you can take a relaxing boat ride via Disney's Polynesian Resort, or there is now a walking path that takes you straight to the park.

Enjoy your Easter celebration at Walt Disney World Resort, and please come back and visit us again if you have any further questions.  We will be very happy to help you!
