Welcome to planDisney, Janet! Booking a hotel gets you one step closer to your Disneyland vacation. Let’s talk about the details!
While you are able to book a
Disneyland Resort Hotel after purchasing
theme park tickets, you won't be able to combine your existing tickets with a hotel reservation to turn it into a
Disneyland Resort vacation package. If you do decide to book a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you will not be able to take advantage of certain offers like the 10% dining and merchandise discount in the Downtown Disney District or the collectible pin and lanyard. You will, however, as a Resort Hotel Guest, still receive
one complimentary Lightning Lane Multi Pass entry.
If you are still looking to stay at a Disneyland Resort hotel, don’t forget to take advantage of one of its biggest perks: heading back to your room for a midday break! If you're planning a multi-day visit, you may want to take a break from the parks in the afternoon to relax at the hotel, enjoy the pool, or simply recharge before heading back for an evening of Disney magic. Your feet may thank you!
Also, don’t forget that there are many wonderful dining experiences right at your doorstep. From character dining at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel to the restaurants at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Pixar Place Hotel, you don't have to be inside a theme park to enjoy a memorable Disney meal. You may want to consider making a hotel dining reservation part of your vacation.
Janet, no matter where you stay, I am sure you are going to have a magical experience. I hope the rest of your planning goes smoothly, but, if you have any other questions, come back to planDisney. We will be glad to help you out.
Have a magical day!
David
