How can I add a Disney gift card and credit card to my onboard account

    Ahoy there, Joyce!

I’m so excited to welcome you aboard planDisney, and thrilled that you’ve brought your question to us! As you set sail on your planning adventure, think of us as your trusty crew, ready to help you navigate all the details. From planning your days onboard to anticipating all the magical moments waiting for you, this is such a special time to get excited and start dreaming about everything ahead.

You can add the credit card you want on file as soon as you start your online check-in, which opens 30 days before your cruise. It’s super easy to do either on the Disney Cruise Line website under “Already Booked” or right from the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. While you’re checking in, you’ll also upload all the required travel documents, things like photos of passports, birth certificates, and photo IDs for everyone in your party, plus individual passenger photos. You’ll enter your travel details for getting to the port and heading home after the cruise, too. Doing it all ahead of time makes boarding day smooth and stress-free, so you can start your vacation off on the right foot!

There are a couple of easy ways to add Disney Gift Cards to your onboard account. One option is to apply them before your cruise as onboard credit. Simply go to the Disney Cruise Line website, click on the “Already Booked” tab, select “Onboard Gifts,” and then hover over “Shop by Category” to choose “Onboard Credit.” From there, you can enter your gift card number as the payment method, and your onboard account will be ready to go before you even step on the ship.

If you’d rather wait, you can also add your Disney Gift Cards once you’re onboard. Just stop by Guest Services anytime during your sailing, and they’ll apply the gift cards directly to your stateroom account. Whichever way you choose, you’ll have onboard credit ready to enjoy all the extra magic, like specialty dining, spa treatments, Port Adventures, and even souvenir shopping!

Joyce, I hope you found this information helpful! If any other questions pop up as you continue planning your adventure, don’t hesitate to sail back over to planDisney…we’re always happy to help!

    Seas the day,
