what account do I use to sign up for runDisney races? Should I be logged in before getting in the queue on the morning of sign up?

    Hiya Darlene,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your runDisney question! How exciting that you are gearing up for runDisney registration. As part of the runDisney community for more than 10 years, I can tell you that you are in for an unforgettable experience. From arriving at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at ESPN Wide World of Sports, to standing in your corral on race morning, to crossing that magical finish line, the energy is contagious, and the excitement is unmatched.

So, Darlene, let’s lace up those sneakers and race right into your question. To log in to your runDisney account, you will use the same email address and password that you use for your My Disney account. If you do not already have one, you should be prompted to create one.

On registration day, I always recommend being logged in ahead of time. This can help save a little time once it is your turn to register, since some of your information may already be connected to your account. If you are not signed in, you may be prompted to log in before continuing with the registration process. From there, you will be able to complete the race registration details, such as shirt size, emergency contact information, and any other required information.

One of my favorite race-day tips is to tuck a small, foldable, reusable bag or a plastic bag into your pocket or running belt. At the end of the race, you will be so glad you have it! It is perfect for carrying your finisher medal, water bottle, sports drink, snack box, and any other post-race goodies. It is such a simple hands-free trick, and it has helped me many times after crossing that finish line.

Darlene, I hope this helps answer your question and gets you one step closer to your runDisney race weekend. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by and visit us again.

See you at the finish line,

    Christina
