Hi I accidentally cancelled a lightning lane reservation. Is there anyway to get it back. Thanks

    Hey there, Andrew!

Welcome to planDisney! While I'm thrilled to hear that you have a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth right on the horizon and that you've made your Lightning Lane Pass selections in advance, it's less than magical to hear that you accidentally deleted one of your selections. I'm more than happy to answer your question today to get your pixie-dusted planning back on track.

Unfortunately, once a Lightning Lane selection has been canceled, that action cannot be undone. If you have not done so already, I suggest trying to re-book the same arrival window or even a different arrival window for the attraction you accidentally canceled. Since both Lightning Lane Multi Passes and Single Passes are subject to availability, I'll be wishing upon a star that you will be able to re-book your must-do experience!

If you are unable to re-book the same attraction, never fear! If your canceled Lightning Lane selection was for either Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT, I suggest joining the Virtual Queue on the My Disney Experience app right at 7:00 a.m. on the day of your visit. And the best part? Joining the Virtual Queue is complimentary! If the canceled selection was any other attraction, I recommend "rope-dropping" the park and arriving before the park even opens to experience your must-do attractions before the crowds arrive. Using Lightning Lane Passes and rope-dropping the parks are my favorite ways to maximize the magic!

Another strategy I love to use to maximize my Lightning Lane Multi Pass is to book any attraction as close to park-opening as I can. Then, right when the park opens and I tap into my first Lightning Lane, I'm free to make another selection - even one for a more popular attraction if it is still available! Happy tapping, Andrew!

While this likely was not the answer you were hoping for, Andrew, I hope it was at least helpful! Please stop by planDisney any time with any questions you may have. Have the most magical and memorable adventure this week!

    Adventure is out there!
