Hiya Brittny - welcome to
planDisney!
I'm so excited to hear that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort next week! You're arriving right in the middle of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration - full of exciting new food, experiences, and so much more. Get ready to make some magical memories!
The best way to manage all of your plans, including your already purchased tickets, is through the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, or by logging in to your My Disney Experience account
online. Currently, the My Disney Experience Mobile App requires iOS 13.0 or later, and some advanced features, including
MagicMobile features, require iOS version 14.4 or later and Apple Wallet support.
Based on my understanding, as long as you have iOS 13.0 or later you should be able to
see your linked tickets in the app, but you will not be able to use your smartphone as your ticket to scan into a park without a device that supports MagicMobile. In that case, you can either link your ticket to an existing MagicBand if you have one, purchase a new MagicBand when you arrive and link it to your account and ticket, or
visit Guest Relations at any theme park or Disney Springs to receive a physical version of your ticket to use throughout your visit.
If your device doesn't meet these requirements, don't fret! My friend and fellow panelist
Aena recently provided some
tips on experiencing Walt Disney World Resort without the mobile app. Long story short, arrive early and be sure to talk with Cast Members who can help you make the most of your magical day!
