Welcome to planDisney, Tracy, and greetings from a fellow Floridian! I spend part of the year in the Sunshine State, and my husband and I became
Annual Passholders last year. Isn't it great having so much magic at our fingertips? It's like a dream come true! I treasure every Walt Disney World Resort visit, but as Ursula says, if we want to cross the bridge, we have to pay the toll. So let's explore some payment options.
My panelist friend Tammy
answered a similar question for another guest last year, and when I chatted with a friendly Cast Member, he confirmed that
Disney Gift Cards could not be used online to make Annual Pass payments. You can use a Disney Gift Card balance during the initial down payment process, but your automatic monthly payments must be linked to a credit or debit card. He also said you should be able to make a payment using a gift card in person at any Guest Relations desk, and you can apply a gift card to your passholder balance by calling
Passholder Payment Services. So take a gulp and take a breath and go ahead and make that payment!
Before I go, I'd like to mention that tickets for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be going on sale soon, and Annual Passholders will be eligible for a discount on select party dates. This frightfully fun after-hours event is sure to be a blast. I love the shorter wait times during after-hours events, and there are plans to have a
special virtual queue for the new
TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise attraction during the party this year. I can hardly wait!
Thanks again for stopping by, Tracy! Enjoy all the
perks and benefits of your Annual Pass, and feel free to
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
