Welcome to planDisney, fellow Floridian!
One of the best perks of living in Florida is having Mickey as a neighbor! I love that there are discounts on
Theme Park tickets,
Annual Passes, and
Resort stays. Looks like you agree with me and are prepping to enjoy the magic.
Florida residents are eligible to purchase tickets for themselves, those living in their household, and anyone under 18. If you have a Florida-issued ID, the easiest way to buy your tickets or pass is
online. Fill out the "Your Florida Resident Information" form on Disneyworld.com, or if you use the My Disney Experience app, complete the "Customize Your Tickets" step, and you'll be good to go! This process applies to any eligible discounted ticket.
If you can't confirm online, you can do it in person at Guest Relations in one of the four Theme Parks or Disney Springs. You'll need to bring a Florida-issued ID or
other valid forms of residency (mortgage or bank statements, utility bills, etc. - those need to be <2 months old).
William, watch the
Disney Parks Blog for special events, and check the
Special Offers page for Annual Passholders and Florida Residents - you never know what magic awaits at our neighbor's house!
