Hi Tricia,
A warm welcome from one hydration-focused Disney Fan to another! As a fellow Southerner, I wouldn't dream of visiting my favorite place on Earth without my
favorite water bottle, especially in the summer. The great news is that we don't have to.
Not only can you bring your chosen water bottle through the magical gates of Disney Parks, but
Mickey & the crew may be able to sign them. Just be sure that there is plenty of room and that your permanent marker is ready for some of our larger-pawed pals. I must say, that is a particularly excellent idea for the perfect souvenir. I like the way you think!
Since we are talking about hydration, please know that you can request a complimentary cup of ice water at any Quick Service dining location. There are also water fountains and water bottle filling stations located around all four theme parks and at Disney Springs. You will never find yourself very far from a refill.
Finally, if you find yourself ready to take your refreshment to the next level, there are a few extremely tasty beverages that I'd recommend you might try to change things up:
At Magic Kingdom Park: Give the Frozen Mint Julep Lemonade at
Casey's Corner a taste.
At Disney's Hollywood Studios:
Ice Cold Hydraulics offers delicious Frozen Slushies with or without alcohol.
At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Go for the Frozen Minute Maid Premium Lemonade (and grab a paper cone of the Cinnamon-Glazed Pecans while you are at it) from
Drinkwallah.
At EPCOT: While not quite a beverage, the Kakigori from
Kabuki Cafe is Japanese shaved ice in scrumptious flavors. I have to admit, though, that I was really having a hard time debating if I should recommend that or The Cucumber margarita from
Choza de Margarita. So, I'll go with both! It's vacation, right?
I hope that was helpful, Tricia! Come on back and visit us with any other questions as you prepare for your unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We love to help!
Adventure is out there,
Sally
