Hey there, Candace! Thank you for trusting planDisney with your vacation planning questions.
I remember the days of taking my small children to Walt Disney World and fretting over the stroller situation. Will I need the double stroller? Should I just rent a stroller?
Guests are permitted to bring strollers to the Walt Disney World Resort as long as they fit within the stroller size guidelines.
Walt Disney World Resort Rules state that strollers must not be larger than 31" (79 cm) x 52" (132 cm) and wagons, including stroller wagons, are not permitted. Many strollers on the market, including many double strollers, fit within these guidelines. If you decide to bring your stroller with you, I recommend that you measure the width and length of your stroller from the longest and widest points to double-check the sizing before your vacation.
After some online sleuthing, I found that the Zoe Double Stroller measures 29” wide and 33” long. Plus, it is lightweight at just 19 pounds! The City Select Double Stroller should measure about 26” wide and 38.5” long, making both of these strollers a good option for you to take your littles into the Walt Disney World theme parks.
Alternatively,
Stroller Rentals are available at all four theme parks as well as Disney Springs if you prefer to leave your stroller at home. All strollers can be hard to distinguish in a literal sea of strollers, so I recommend tying something on the handle that will make it stand out from the rest! An iconic Mickey balloon was always my first choice!
I hope this answers your question! Please head back to planDisney if you think of any other questions prior to your magical vacation.
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
