About Me
I am a super fun Disney-loving, travel-obsessed wife and mom from the Chicago suburbs. I will talk Disney with anyone who will listen and love Disney trivia. I’m a former elementary physical education teacher, so I am all about the FUN! I celebrated my last milestone birthday in Hawaii at Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa and even danced with Goofy at my birthday breakfast. When I’m not playing with one of our four dogs, I am working on our upcoming vacations or helping others plan theirs. I am so excited to be part of the 2021 planDisney Panel!
About My Family
My family rocks! I have an amazing husband, who I believe is my soulmate. He supports me fully in all of my endeavors, even the crazy ones. He is my partner in travel, and has been on 15 Disney cruises with me. I also have two awesome children who keep me laughing all the time. My oldest is 21, sarcastically hilarious, and always up for a thrill ride, her favorite being Disneyland’s Space Mountain. My youngest is 18, plays multiple instruments, is a foodie, and loves Disney almost as much as I do. While we are always looking forward to our next Disney vacation, one of our favorite Walt Disney World memories was waking up SUPER early to head to Disney's Hollywood Studios on opening day of Batuu and being among the first guests to pilot the Millennium Falcon.
About My Disney Experience
My very first vacation, before I was even a year old, was to Walt Disney World. I grew up going to Disneyland almost every other year, and even went to Walt Disney World three times as a child. As a “grown-up,” I made it my mission to visit Walt Disney World at least once every three years, and took my oldest daughter before she reached age 1. We have also become Disney Vacation Club members, owning real estate interest at Bay Lake Tower and Animal Kingdom Lodge. However, our true Disney “addiction” began ten years ago when we embarked on our very first Disney Cruise Line vacation, and I’ve dressed up like a pirate on 21 cruises since then. One of the best things about Disney Cruise Line vacations is the wonderful people we have met onboard whom we are still friends with to this day. Now, I head to Walt Disney World every couple of months, and sprinkle in Disney Cruise Line vacations, visits to Disneyland, and even a couple of Aulani vacations!
