About Me

I am a super fun Disney-loving, scrapbook-obsessed wife and mom from the Chicago suburbs. I will talk Disney with anyone who will listen and love Disney trivia. I volunteer for both of my daughters' schools, and I’m a former elementary physical education teacher. I recently celebrated a milestone birthday this past summer in Hawaii at Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa and even danced with my favorite character Goofy at my birthday breakfast. When I’m not playing taxi driver to my teen and tween, I am working on our upcoming vacations or helping others plan theirs. I am so excited to be part of the 2015 planDisney Panel as the Disney Cruise Line Specialist.

About My Family

My family rocks. I have an amazing husband, who I believe is my soulmate. He supports me fully in all of my endeavors, even the crazy ones. He is my partner in travel, and has been on 11 Disney cruises with me. I also have two daughters who keep me laughing all the time. My oldest is 14, sarcastically hilarious, and always up for a thrill ride, her favorite being Disneyland’s Space Mountain. She is a dancer and cheerleader at school, and also coaches younger girls at our local park district cheerleading program. My youngest is 11, participates in competitive cheerleading and loves Disney almost as much as I do. She often talks of working for Disney Cruise Line in the future and having a Disney wedding. While we are always looking forward to our next Disney vacation, one of our favorite Disney cruise memories was celebrating the start of 2014 in the atrium of the Disney Magic with confetti everywhere!

About My Disney Experience

My very first vacation, before I was even a year old, was to Walt Disney World. I grew up going to Disneyland almost every other year, and even went to Walt Disney World three times as a child. As a “grown-up,” I made it my mission to visit Walt Disney World at least once every three years, and took my oldest daughter before she reached age 1. We have also become Disney Vacation Club members, owning real estate interest at Bay Lake Tower and Animal Kingdom Lodge. However, our true Disney “addiction” began five years ago when we embarked on our very first Disney Cruise Line cruise, and we’ve dressed up like pirates on 11 cruises since then. One of the best things about Disney Cruise Line vacations is the wonderful people we have met onboard whom we are still friends with to this day.
