Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. It truly is one of the most immersive adventures at Disneyland, and I’m happy to help you map out the smoothest path to joining the Resistance.
At this time,
Lightning Lane Single Pass access for Rise of the Resistance can only be purchased after you have scanned into either
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park on the day of your visit. There is not currently an option to pre-purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass before your visit on March 18. Once you’ve picked up your scooters from Bell Services and entered one of the parks (around 10:00 a.m., as you mentioned), you’ll be able to open the
Disneyland app and purchase your Single Lightning Lane selection from there.
Since it sounds like you’re staying at
Disneyland Resort hotel, you may also want to consider
Lightning Lane Premier Pass. This option provides one-time Lightning Lane access to each available Lightning Lane attractions across both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure (including attractions typically offered through Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass selections). With Premier Pass, there’s no need to choose return windows in advance. You can redeem your Lightning Lane entrances at a time that works best for you throughout the day. It is available in limited quantities and may be purchased up to seven days before your visit, which could offer a little extra peace of mind before you even arrive. For Guests who prefer flexibility, especially with a mid-morning park entry, that can be a helpful option.
If you decide to purchase the Lightning Lane Single Pass instead, I recommend checking availability shortly after you enter the park. Return times can move quickly, and earlier selections may give you more options for pacing your day comfortably. Midday often sees higher standby wait times, so securing a Lightning Lane return window earlier can help you avoid the longest lines.
