    Hi my 13yr old son & I are visiting from the UK for a week at the begining of June. This is our first visit and I am a little overwhelmed! Staying on site with dining plan. Any tips on spending money amounts, must do experiences and planning tips? Tha

    Hi Kim! Congrats your first trip to Walt Disney World! You guys are going to have so much fun! The Disney Dining Plan (DDP) is great! It saves so much money, time and stress. I have a few tips to make your first trip magical: 1 - Book a show, such as the Hoop-Dee-Do Revue. This show will have you laughing while enjoying all-you-can-eat ribs, corn on the cob and strawberry shortcake. 2- Plan as much as you can in advance, including making all advanced dining reservations (ADR), which park you will visit each day and your top must see attractions. 3-Speaking of top attractions, make a list of each of your top five "must sees" and top five "would like to see" attractions, shows and events. Make sure you do each item on that list and everything else is a bonus! 4-As far as the top must do experiences, I recommend viewing all of the fireworks shows, including Illuminations in Epcot, Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios and Wishes at Magic Kingdom. The parades are also so much fun! You don't want to miss some of the best attractions, such as Soarin' at Epcot, Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom, Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom and Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studios. 5 - Make an ADR at one of the character dining experiences, such as Chef Mickey's, by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
