My 5 yr old son and I will be making our first trip to Disney in November. If I bring a stroller what do I do with it when we are on rides? It will just be the two of us.

There are stroller parking areas just outside all the rides. You should bring any valuables, such as wallets and cameras, with you onto the rides, but you can leave the stroller safely outside.

I am not naive enough to think a stroller theft has never occurred at WDW, but I have never personally heard of it happening. Thousands and thousands of guests leave their strollers in the parking areas at WDW every day with no problems at all. I myself have brought very expensive strollers to the parks many times with no issues whatsoever. I did, on several occasions, even forget to take the camera out of the stroller when we visited an attraction (again, I wouldn't recommend this).  Nothing was ever touched.

I would definitely recommend that you bring your own stroller from home. The WDW rental strollers are quite expensive. The rentals must also stay in the parks. There are many uses for strollers in the resorts as well, making your own much more convenient.

I hope you and your son have a lovely time together.
