    My 4.5yr old son LOVES Star Wars! Is there a way to get picked for Jedi Training at HS? Thanks!

    Hi Laurie,

    I have a number of Jedi fans in my family too. The Jedi Training Academy is offered daily on the stage right next to Star Tours at Hollywood Studios. While there is no guarantee on being selected, there are a few things you can do to help your Jedi make the cut.

    1. 1. Arrive early. The kids are usually selected that are closest to the stage and in eyesight of the the Cast Members. Pick out a spot near the front center of the stage.
    2. Show enthusiasm. The Cast members are looking for kids that want to be part of the show and don't appear to be frightened by the attention and excitement. Show that you want to be picked. Jump up and down, wave your arms, yell and have fun. If he looks like he is having fun and is comfortable in the noise and crowds, they feel he will be less intimidated on the stage
    3. Wear some Star Wars garb. My Jedi youngsters have tons of t-shirts, costumes, light sabers and more. We usually choose our Hollywood Studios day to wear these items. They will draw the attention of the Cast Members and show your son's interest.
    4. Try, try again. Remember there are only a few kids picked for each show, so if you don't make the cut for the first show, come on back and try again.
