My 9yr old is a picky eater and the AoA resort has only 1 thing on the kids menu she will eat but several on the adult. Any suggestions so my daughter will eat?  Would love for her to eat a variety but she would not eat. Can I get her pizza or fries?

Hi Heather! I can definitely relate to having a kids that is a picky eater! However, you are staying at the absolute BEST resort for food options for a picky eater.

The Art of Animation Resort has a large food court that offers many options for every appetite. You have a few options for your picky eater. Even though it is not on the menu online, you can order a kids pizza from the Pizza Station at the Landscape of Flavor at Art of Animation Resort. There is a kids pizza that comes with grapes and a choice of drink.

If you are not on the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) then of course you can order her anything off of the adult or children's menu. If you are using the DDP then then you can choose how you allocate your Disney Dining Credits.

You can use an adult Quick Service Credit for a pizza, burger and fries or other entree for your child, while you pick something off of the children's menu to eat. The portions are so large that you will find the children's menu offers enough food to fill you up.

During our last trip when my son was nine, I would order an item off of the children's menu because I just wanted a small portion and my son would order off of the adult menu because he preferred larger portions and some of the adult menu options. It worked out well.

There are also a wide variety of items that you can use snack credits for, such as Greek Yogurt Parfaits, fruit cups and more. You can also substitute french fries for the fruit for many of the children menu items if she likes fries.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
