Welcome to planDisney, Allison!
What a great idea! We took our kids to
Tri-Circle-D Ranch earlier this year and my daughter got to
ride a pony. She really loved it and I know yours will too. Walking around the "neigh"-borhood and seeing all the different horses is also really cool. There's a really neat section telling the story of the early history of horses in Walt Disney World. Oh, and keep an eye out for the magical carriage on display.
Allison, to get from
Disney's Springs to
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you can take a complimentary Disney bus. However, the quickest way would be to simply drive and park at the resort. When you arrive at the security checkpoint as you enter the resort, you can tell the Cast Member that you would like to take your daughter on a pony ride and they will let you know where you can park.
I hope that's helpful, Allison. If you get hungry during your adventure, stop by
Trail's End Restaurant. The food here is delicious and will make you feel like you're camping in the Wild West.
Have a great trip, Allison.
Mike
