Me and 6 yr old daughter going to DW in June 2013 (we stayed at Beach Club last time but can't afford this time), so I'm thinking of AOA LM. Is it overly crowded since mostly suites? Long bus waits? Long food lines? Or do you recommend elsewhere?

Hi Shelley! Thanks for the question! It is such a pleasure to answer all of your Walt Disney World Vacation planning questions! Disney's Beach Club Resort is definitely one of my family's favorite Walt Disney World Resorts. With that being said, I got a firsthand look at Disney's Art of Animation Resort before it officially opened in April and loved the immersive storybook theming and attention to detail at every turn!  I would not hesitate for a second to stay at Disney's newest resort!  Unfortunately, I cannot tell you from firsthand experience if the lines at Landscape of Flavors or the buses have long waits since I visited before the resort actually opened. However, it is my understanding that Disney's Art of Animation Resort does not share bus transportation with any other resort which is a huge benefit. Disney's Beach Club Resort does share bus transportation with Disney's Yacht Club Resort and we have stayed there when we also shared with the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels as well as Disney's Boardwalk Inn. I found the time involved to travel by bus from Disney's Beach Club Resort to take longer than when we have stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort. We have stayed at both Disney's Pop Century Resort and DIsney's All-Star-Movies Resort in the past and have never found them to be overly crowded or encountered long lines at the quick-service dining locations. If you are considering a Value Resort for your 2013 vacation, then I would definitely recommend Disney's Art of Animation Resort for your trip. I think your "little princess" will enjoy The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms and The Big Blue Pool. I hope this information helps!  Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a Magical Walt Disney World Vacation, Shelley!
    Happy Planning,
