About Me
I've always had a passion for "all things Disney!" I was born two months after Magic Kingdom Park opened, lost my first tooth during our family's first visit to Walt Disney World Resort and was honored as a Junior in High School with the Walt Disney Doer's and Dreamer's Award. After working as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years, I recently traded in my scrubs to become a Physician Recruiter for my local hospital. However, my biggest and most rewarding job is managing an active household of six. You will most often find me driving kids to after-school activities and sporting events. I enjoy social media, running, traveling, reading and planning our next trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. I find the planning process to be almost as much fun as the vacation itself!
About My Family
My husband and I have been blessed with four children! We have one princess and three princes. With a daughter in college, a son in high school and two busy middle schoolers, my husband and I often find ourselves having to divide and conquer. We are a busy family with activities which include: Boy Scouts, football, basketball, and soccer. We enjoy family movie nights, heading to Athens in the fall to see the Georgia Bulldogs play, and our frequent trips to Walt Disney World Resort. We joined the Disney Vacation Club in 2009 and have loved being able to travel to magical destinations with our membership. The entire family enjoys getting involved in the planning process. In doing so, FastPass+ selections can be made for a favorite attraction (Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith) or an Advanced Dining Reservation booked for our favorite restaurant, 'Ohana. After all, 'Ohana does mean family!
About My Disney Experience
I have a great passion for helping families plan memorable Walt Disney World vacations! Having visited Walt Disney World Resort more times than I can count, four Disney cruises, and two trips to Disneyland Resort, I have gained knowledge and personal experience that I love to share. As a mom of four, I have traveled to Walt Disney World Resort while pregnant, with infants, while potty training and now with teenagers. My family has enjoyed the theme parks, dining locations, resort activities, golf, miniature golf, and water parks. I have vacationed with extended family, girlfriends, and with other couples. As a frequent Guest, I strive to make each Walt Disney World vacation unique by incorporating a new dining location, special event, or a new resort stay into our itinerary. I have been fortunate to experience every category of available accommodations from Value to Deluxe Villas. I'm proud to say I've participated in many of the runDisney events including six half marathons and the Walt Disney World Marathon. By creating customized itineraries, giving dining suggestions, sharing time saving tips as well as "not to miss" experiences, I have helped families maximize their time while still being able to enjoy those magical moments!
