We have a 5yr old daughter. Our choices are Art of Animation resort as she loves all the themes or due to a sale we can stay at the Carribben Beach for $50 cheaper. It's not much $ but it's a step up;which resort do you think our child would enjoy more?

    Amanda,

While typically you will hear the recommendation to move UP from a Value to a Moderate, in this case you will not hear me recommending the Caribbean Beach. I think that the extra cost of the Value here is well worth it. I have never been a big fan of the Caribbean beach, as bus transportation seems to take forever as it meanders around the resort. And while the pool area have been updated quite well, I think it is not enough to tip the scales.

The Art of Animation, on the other hand, offers some amazing rooms, a food court that is better than some sit-down table service restaurants, and an ambiance and theme that is just spectacular.

I know, it is going to cost you more. I always hate asking friends to spend more money than they have to. But if it will not hit you too hard on the budget, it will be the best money you spent on this vacation.

BOTTOM LINE: Art of Animation it is!

    Have a magical vacation!
