    I have a 12 yr old boy and a 10 yr old girl - when they were younger they shared a bed, or we got a trundle bed (which is smaller than a regular bed) but they both want their own beds this time. how many resorts offer bunk beds- and is it a good idea?

    Hi Susan,

    Both the Animal Kindgom and Wilderness Lodge have bunk beds.  We stayed in the Animal Kingdom Lodge with the bunk beds and it was a very nice room.  It was a safari view so my girls got to eat breakfast on the balcony and watch the animals.

    Bedtime was a treat because there was no fighting over covers or space.  They even worked out a deal of who got to sleep on the top bunk each night.

    I would make the request when you are making your room reservation.
