Hi Denise,
In the words of Goofy, “Aw shucks!” You’re so sweet to ask how I’m doing! I’m great and counting down the days until my next Disney adventure! How are you? It sounds like you, too, might be counting down to some magic and fun! I’m so excited for you!
At this point in the
phased reopening, only California residents are permitted to visit the
Disneyland Resort theme parks. You’ll need to confirm that all the Mouseketeers in your party are California residents during the
ticketing and theme park reservation process and be prepared to show proof of residency once you arrive at the gate if you’re visiting before June 15th. Please feel free to bring a valid state-issued ID to confirm your California residency, or if you don’t happen to have that, you may bring an official document like a bank statement, pay stub, or utility bill with your full name and address. If you’re visiting on June 15th or later, though, you won’t need to worry about bringing anything to prove your residency, although I would always recommend traveling with identification.
Also, while Disney is strongly recommending that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test before entering the theme parks, you won’t need to show any proof of vaccination or negative test results to visit, so don’t worry about bringing that with you!
Thanks so much for visiting us at
planDisney, Denise, and please feel free to stop by any time you have a Disney-planning question or would like some advice. I hope you have a truly magical visit!
Missy
