Was on YouTube looking at 2br villa at BCV. Some 2nd bedrooms have kitchenette, or double vanities or even two beds instead of one bed and one sleeper sofa. Are these options I can request or is it just luck of the draw? Don't really need two kitchens

    Hi Dawn,

There are several ways that the DVC villas "make" two bedroom units. Some are dedicated two-bedroom suites. These were designed to have two bedrooms and are only configured as such.

Other two bedroom units are called "lock offs." These are made by combining a one-bedroom unit with a studio unit. There are a door between these rooms that can be "locked off" so that they can be rented separately according to guest demand.

If you'd prefer not to have the overlap in kitchen equipment, you can certainly request to have a dedicated two-bedroom rather than a lock-off. There may be pricing differences, so it never hurts to ask this before you complete your booking.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
