My youngest will be 10 weeks old when we stay at the Wilderness Lodge Villas in September. Do pool rules allow me to bring a stroller to the pool so he can nap more comfortably? I will need my hands free for my two year old. Or is there a better way? Thank

    Hi Michelle!

I'm sure you are already imagining the incredible time you will have as you enjoy your beautiful afternoons around Silver Creek Springs Pool at The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge with your family. It's going to be fabulous!

Yes, you should feel free to bring your stroller to the pool, just be sure to check with the Lifeguard for the best place to park it. He or she can point you to the typically quiet areas with the best shade, and those that will prevent the buggy from becoming a safety hazard.

If you are comfortable with "Baby wearing," consider bringing along a sling or wrap designed to be worn in water such as those offered by Beachfrontbabywraps.com. They are becoming far more common now, and will eliminate the temptation to split your attention between two areas of the pool. My daughters are very close in age, so I understand how difficult it can be to keep up with two Mousketeers around the water. Keeping your younger child attached to you can make this task substantially more manageable.

I hope that helps, Michelle! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
