My youngest will be less than 2 weeks away from turning 3 when we leave for our cruise. He has been potty trained for quite some time and is excellent at following directions and interacting with peers. Is there a gray area for kids like him?

    Ahoy Malia!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Oh what fun it is to countdown the days until your cruise!  Once those jingle bells stop ringing it will be time to finalize your packing lists and get ready to sail away.  I am so excited for you to experience all of the magic included when you vacation with Captain Mickey!

Your pirate-in-training is going to have a blast while onboard!  The under three crowd can spend time on their own in the "it's a small world" nursery.  In this space, your little one can meet new friends, enjoy arts and crafts time and play with the youth counselors.  Make reservations for the nursery as soon as your advance booking window opens as reservations do fill up quickly.

Although your little one may not be able to join any older siblings in the other youth clubs designed for pirates over three years old, there is still an opportunity for them to experience all of the fun of the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab together during open house time.  Your entire family can also splash the days away in the onboard pools as they welcome all pirates who are toilet trained, regardless of age.  Check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for details of when these spaces are open for all sailors to explore.

Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions as you plan your family's upcoming adventure!
