Hi Tanya!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! With 3 little ones, you are very wise to plan your day so they're not too tired to enjoy the evening activities at
Magic Kingdom Park. Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to watch
Happily Ever After and would highly recommend experiencing the nighttime spectacular during your upcoming trip.
If you are able to visit Magic Kingdom Park earlier in the day, I suggest arriving first thing in the morning and then returning to your Disney Resort hotel for an afternoon nap. With any theme park ticket, you are allowed to leave and reenter the same park on that same day. When my four children were little and woke up early each day, we preferred to arrive at park opening in order to experience as many attractions as possible with little to no wait. We would then return to our Disney Resort hotel for an afternoon nap or break. At approximately 6:00 p.m., we would return to the park to enjoy the nighttime activities and special entertainment offerings. We found the children were rested and able to enjoy themselves at night as well. This strategy also allowed us to avoid the park at the warmest time of day and when the park is often the most crowded. If your schedule does not allow you to enter the parks earlier that day or go back for a midday break, I do think you are wise to enter the park between 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. as opposed to trying to last for the entire day.
I hope this information has been helpful in making the best decision for your family. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Tanya!
Happy Planning,
Jodie
