2 young married couples coming to DW in Oct. Which water park would be best suited? Heard BB is better thrill rides, but interested in crush n gusher? whats your opinion?

    Hi Stephanie,

I really could not answer this question until today. Reason-my first trip to Typhoon Lagoon in 16 years was today!

While I loved the Crush 'n' Gusher and the Surf Pool at Typhoon Lagoon, I think there is more action over at Blizzard Beach. I thought the other attractions at Typhoon Lagoon could not give me the thrill as the attractions at Blizzard Beach.

However, if you want to surf, the early morning lessons at Typhoon Lagoon are very cool! No I did not get up early to catch those waves but I did snorkel with the sharks which is a different experience all together.

Blizzard Beach has great body slides and tube slides. It also has mats for racing other guests. Teamboat Springs is a wonderful ride for everyone, and you have to try Summit Plummet but hold onto your bathing suit!

    Have a great trip!
