As a young child I went on a nature reserve guided tour kinda thing called "The Wonder and Beauty Of Our World" from what I remember it was really cool. Anyway I was wondering if there is anything like that to do now

Hi there, Stephen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to submit your question and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I don’t know about you but I am a huge animal lover and explorer of all things nature related! I am so very excited to tell you about some of the offering Walt Disney World Resort has that involve these subjects!

There are quite a few animal experiences available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom currently. If you’re interested in learning more about the mighty African Elephant, I’d recommend looking into the Caring for Giants tour. This tour takes Guests behind the scenes and shows them just what goes into caring for these gorgeous creatures. Guests will also have the opportunity to view African Elephants up close from approximately 80 to 100 feet away.

Another fun experience is the Up Close with Rhinos tour at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This is another tour that takes place backstage and explains how Disney’s animal experts care for their white rhinoceroses. I’ve had the opportunity to experience this tour myself and cannot recommend it enough! Going behind the scenes and getting up close with these animals was absolutely amazing and something I’ll always remember!

I hope this has given you a few ideas on how you can dive deeper and learn more about conservation at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
