chEARs Elizabeth!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for bringing a question about the fabulous Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. They are the perfect mix of rustic adventure combined with an excellent location. You will have a wonderful stay!
The Campsites are great for large parties (max of 10 guests per site), and there are
four types of campsites to accommodate whatever you desire. Since you have a 39-footer, I would suggest either the Premium or the Full Hook-up Campsite. The Premium fits up to a 60-foot camper, and the Full Hook-Up’s concrete pad is 50 feet long. Search online for your dates, or call (407) 939-4229 to speak to a Cast Member about availability.
While you are visiting, make sure to check out
all the great activities the Resort has to offer! You can fit the entire party on an
old-fashioned wagon ride that leaves from Pioneer Hall daily. It’s first-come, first-serve Monday through Thursdays, but you can make reservations for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday by calling (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529.
If you want to get up close to the horses, canter on over to the stables at Tri-Circle-D Ranch. There you can interact with Shetland ponies, Clydesdales, Arabians and more! You can watch the blacksmiths makes horseshoes and hoof the horses. If you are in for an adventure, guests ages nine and over can giddy up for a scenic
horseback trail ride.
