Hello, I have yet another question, At the advice of Ari we are staying at AKL late Oct early Nov. We have never stayed here EXCITED. Which restaurant? Jiko or Sanaa? Have read good things about both. Thanks again for all the advice.

    Lisa,

That is a very good problem to have! They are both fantastic restaurants and I truly don't think you could go wrong either way. That said, though, I have to admit that Jiko holds a special place in my heart and I would always opt to go there first.

It's hard to accurately describe the feeling you get when you enter. It's almost as though you just know immediately that this is going to be a special evening, and I think that anticipation just adds to the experience.

I love the atmosphere in Jiko, but I am completely enamored with their extensive wine list. And the food - oooh, the food! Their house-made Naan is excellent, as is the Filet Mignon. And their dessert list is full of temptations - even to a no-sweets person such as myself!

Sanaa, while delicious, is more comparable to Boma in my opinion, and Jiko is simply a cut above. If you're looking for the very best, I vote Jiko!

    Happy Feasting!
