I am going to this years Food and Wine Festival. I have no idea what to expect or what certain things are a must? Need some advice!!

  • Hello,

Epcot's Food & Wine Festival Presented by Chase is celebrating its 19th year of culinary and wine tasting excellence. This event continues to grow and offer new experiences each year and now has extended the festivities to a record 53 days of eating and drinking around Epcot's World Showcase. From Friday September 19th until Monday November 10th, Guests can choose and personalize from a variety of a la carte events to make this festival one that meets their budget and culinary wants and needs.

The crème de la crème of this event are the 25+ Marketplace Booths, stationed around Epcot's World Showcase. Guest can wine and dine on tapas size portions of regional foods and wine from countries all around the world. Pick up a complimentary Marketplace Discovery Passport book found in the Festival Welcome Center in Future World or one of the kiosks around World Showcase, selling merchandise for this special event. Your passport lists menu items for each booth and can be stamped at each country you visit.

Guests can, also, choose from free demonstrations, talks and seminars found at the Festival Welcome Center daily and let's not forget the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Eat, drink, and dance all while listening to some well known bands. If on a budget and interested in a little bit more, lower cost events are available and include mixology and beverage seminars plus culinary demonstrations. More pricier culinary events include Party for the Senses, Food & Wine Pairings and French Regional Luncheons along with others. For a more detailed list of the above selections visit the Disney website or disneyfoodblog.com. They are my go to place when deciding my culinary plan of attack. Call (407) WDW-FEST to book any of the above options and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask.
