After years of dreaming, I have finally been given the ok by my DH and the bank (lol) to take our family on a dream holiday to DW. We are a family of 6 and agreeing on where to stay is not easy, the hotels with the most votes sleep 5, can we add a foldup?

Hi, Natasha!  The maximum occupancy in each room is not something that's flexible.  But let's see what we can do to help make this dream vacation come true!

Let's start with this - if you have a child under the age of three, they don't count towards room occupancy.  So if you have a family of six, but one of them is a child under age three, you can still stay in a room that will accommodate five people.

If you have a resort you are leaning towards, but they don't have a regular room that will accommodate a family your size, check and see if there is a Disney Vacation Club resort that might.  Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge also has Kidani Village, which is a DVC resort.  Even if you are not a DVC member, you can book a room here as a regular guest.  Many DVC villas will accommodate a larger party (the two bedrooms will sleep up to eight guests), and give you a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a jacuzzi tub!  You'll also find DVC villas by the Contemporary Resort (Bay Lake Tower), at the Boardwalk, at the Beach Club, at Wilderness Lodge, and there are several others like Saratoga Springs Resort and Old Key West that are completely separate from the regular resorts.

Other options for a family of six include the family suites at Disney's All Star Music resort or the brand new (opening very soon) Art of Animation Resort.  You can also fit six in the cabins at Fort Wilderness.

I hope this opens up some other options that you hadn't yet considered!  Let's make this trip of a lifetime happen!
