I was especially excited to see your question because my almost 6-year-old nephew absolutely loves Captain Jack Sparrow! He even dressed up as the famous pirate for Halloween a couple of years ago, and it was the cutest thing ever. If your crew has a pirate fan too, you'll be happy to know that Captain Jack Sparrow is currently greeting Guests in Adventureland at
Magic Kingdom, just outside
Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar. It's a fun opportunity for a swashbuckling chat and a few memorable photos!
To find his appearance times on the day of your visit, simply open the
My Disney Experience app and tap the location pin icon at the bottom of the home screen. Across the top of the map, select “Characters,” then filter by “Magic Kingdom.” One of my favorite tips is to tap “Show List” in the bottom-right corner. This displays every character currently meeting in the park, along with their locations and appearance times, making it quick and easy to plan your pirate encounter.

Pirates of the Caribbean! Keep your eyes peeled, because your son will have a blast searching for Captain Jack Sparrow as he pops up several times throughout the attraction in classic pirate fashion.
