I have a 4-year-old princess who is quite apprehensive when it comes to amusement park rides. I know Disney World is the place Dreams Comes True and my dream would be to ride Dumbo with her, if only once. Can WDW cast members help in any way?

    Hi Bryan,

Disney is the place dreams come true! I hope your dream of riding Dumbo with you princess comes true too. I know of no official capacity that the cast members are able to help with your dilemma. My thought is that they do not know your daughter and her fears and would not try and convince her to venture on something that would frighten or upset her. However. the cast members are extremely helpful and encouraging and in my experience are looking for any way possible to add some joy and magic to every guest's trip. They may be willing to explain how the ride works and answer any questions she may have to help her feel secure-I would just ask.

Let her watch the ride and see the ages of the other children riding and how they react and maybe that will help ease her fears. In the end if she chooses not to ride, it might be better to hold on to this dream for another trip and focus on other special memories and rides that the two of you can share-like her first picture with Mickey Mouse or watching Tinkerbell fly from the castle. Hope you both have a magical trip!
