Does my 9-year-old granddaughter need ID to enter on her Under 10 ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?

    Laura,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

This is a great question, and one we see more often than you might imagine. But don't worry, no, you do not have to bring any form of identification for your granddaughter to come into the parks, or to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

While no ID is required, do be sure to have her linked to your My Disney Experience account. Since children under 13 cannot have their own account, they have to be tied to an adult account. That way the ticket to the event can be associated with her.

    BONUS TIP #1
Disney encourages you to get into that holiday spirit, and a photo of you and your granddaughter in matching pajamas or "ugly" holiday sweaters in front of Cinderella Castle makes for an ideal holiday keepsake. I love the holiday sweaters that light up!

    BONUS TIP #2
The parades and fireworks are two of the best parts of the party! Make sure you try to watch both Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party if your granddaughter can stay up that late!

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
