Can my 10 & 12 year-old dds eat off the children's menu at the San Angel Inn? They won't care for the spicy adult food but we are all doing the Candlelight Processional Package. Can we just pay for their meals instead of using Deluxe Dining Plan Cred

    Hi Jennifer,

You're always welcome to pay out of pocket for food at WDW, even if you have purchased the Disney Dining Plan. So if you wanted, you could use credits for the adults and cash for the kids.

However, even though Disney counts your tweens as adults on the Dining Plan, they do understand that some older kids might not be interested in adult food yet. It's up to the individual discretion of the server, but in most cases you can get food from the children's menu in adult size portions. Just ask and the vast majority of the time they'll be able to accommodate you.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
