Greetings, Nayara! Thank you for stopping by planDisney on your way to
Walt Disney World Resort. It sounds like you've acquired a complimentary ticket, so someone in your party will be Mickey's special guest! Let's look at admission policies so you can enjoy the magic on your holiday.
I chatted with a helpful Cast Member who said guests of any age could use most complimentary tickets. Even though the ticket might be labeled as adult admission, children should also be able to use it. You can assign the ticket to any guest linked to your Family & Friends in your Disney Account. Looks like you have a lucky six-year-old!
It's important to remember that once a guest has used a multi-day ticket, it becomes non-transferable. However, as long as the complimentary ticket is unused, it can be activated by a guest of any age.
My tip is to stop by Guest Relations at the entrance to explain your situation before scanning in at the park. They can confirm the ticket type and its validity. You might also call the number on the
ticket information page for confirmation since they can see your exact ticket type.
Most complimentary tickets are not date-based, so you will probably need to make a
theme park reservation for the park you'd like to visit. You can do this online or on the My Disney Experience mobile app. My favorite park to visit with children is
Magic Kingdom Park. It's so iconic!
Visiting with kids is the most magical way to experience the enchantment of Disney. My planDisney pals have compiled an array of planning materials and tips to help your visit go smoothly. I especially love the podcast about
visiting with little ones. My son is grown now, but it seems like he was an energetic six-year-old yesterday!
Nayara, I wish you safe travels and a fabulous adventure this week at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
