Hello, Lori! Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your awesome question about visiting Walt Disney World with your young children.
Each of the four theme parks offers attractions for children of all ages to enjoy, but I do think that you are wise to focus your time on Magic Kingdom Park. There are so many things to do and see there, that I often end up spending at least two full days at this park on each visit! If your children are interested in Character Greetings, parades and mild-but-wild rides, Magic Kingdom Park is a great choice for you and your family.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park is also an excellent choice for young children. My daughter always loves to visit with the animals that call Animal Kingdom 'home' at
Affection Section. We also like to spend a little time digging up dinosaur bones and cooling off at
The Boneyard before grabbing a quick lunch.
Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios also offer Character Greetings and other fantastic
preschool-friendly attractions and entertainment options, but if you only have a couple of days to explore the Disney Parks, I agree that focusing most of your time on Magic Kingdom Park and Animal Kingdom Park is a good plan.
I hope that you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World! If you have any other questions about your upcoming trip, please don't hesitate to reach out to us again, Lori. Happy planning!
